J.P. Morgan CEO Dimon at DOJ to meet AG Holder over a possible $11 billion settlement NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. Chief Executive Jamie Dimon is meeting with Attorney General Eric Holder, according to media reports. The CEO arrived at the Justice Department on Thursday morning, as talks intensify over a possible $11 billion settlement related to allegations of abuse in residential mortgage-backed securities by the firm. The two men are meeting face-to-face to discuss the terms a possible deal for a global settlement that would cover several probes against the firm. J.P. Morgan is eager to resolve the investigations surrounding the firm as soon as possible. J.P. Morgan shares were up nearly 1% in early trading.
