If there’s one thing I’ve learned in my years working as an organizer, it’s that it all comes down to the ground game.
Elections are won on doorsteps, not in backrooms. By volunteers and organizers at community centres talking through the things that matter to their families. It’s my job to make sure they have the tools and training to take it from there.
In the next election, our task is even greater. There will be 338 ridings in play. That’s why we’ve already started assembling our team to carry out the most effective ground game strategy in NDP campaign history.
Right now we’re facing a crucial fundraising deadline. We need to raise a lot of money to move ahead with our fall organizing plans.
Can you pitch in with a donation of $5, $10 or $25 before we have to make our big budget decisions? Here’s the link to do it online:

Our team is fanning out across the country right now – a dream team of experienced organizers. Many of them helped build our historic breakthrough in Quebec.
In the next three months, we need to train the next generation of local, grassroots folks to be our eyes and ears on the ground.
We’ll also train local organizers in upcoming by-elections, bringing us one step closer to defeating Conservatives in the next election.
Jim will you make a donation of $5, $10 or $25 right now before the fundraising deadline?
Our plan is ambitious. But it’s about doing things the right way – the New Democrat way – one doorstep at a time.
Thanks,
Roari
