Florida's 15th congressional district is a congressional district in Florida.
The district contains most of Brevard County south of the city of Cocoa, all of Indian River County, most of Osceola County, and a very small portion of Polk County.
The current Representative from the 15th district is Republican Bill Posey. George W. Bush received 57 percent of the vote in this district in 2004. The district has a Cook Partisan Voting Index score of R +4.
In January 2008, former Rep. Dave Weldon announced that he would not be seeking re-election. The 2008 race for Florida's 15th Congressional District was between Posey, Stephen Blythe (Democrat), and Frank Zilaitis (no party affiliation). Posey was victorious with 53.1 percent of the vote.
