Arizona Redrawn Legislative Maps Sent to U.S. Dept. of Justice The Arizona Independent Redistricting Commission sent its new boundary lines for legislative districts to the U.S. Department of Justice, so that the department can review them for compliance with the federal Voting Rights Act. If appoved by the Justice Department, and unchallenged by lawsuits, the new lines will govern state elections for 10 years. www.governing.com/news/state/arizona-redrawn-legislative-maps-sent-to-us-dept-of-justice.html
