In 13 days, Ohioans will go the polls and choose a Democrat to represent the new 9th Congressional District. The two leading candidates are both members of Congress. So you might be asking, "What difference does it make who wins?" It will make a huge difference for the future of the district, and the country. Yes they are both Democrats, but that is where the similarities end. Dennis' opponent voted to fund Bush’s wars. Dennis did not. She voted for the Patriot Act. Dennis did not. She supports the Keystone pipeline. Dennis does not. Dennis has worked relentlessly for nuclear safety at Davis-Besse. She has not. Dennis supported the Dream Act. She opposed it. Dennis supports Marriage Equality. She opposes it. Dennis fully supports Choice. She opposes it. The truth is there is only one progressive in this race, and he is one of the few truly progressive voices left in Congress. If Dennis' opponent wins, we will lose a the principal advocate in Congress for peace and social and economic justice. There are thirteen (13) days left until the election. On that day voters will answer the question: Will Dennis Kucinich remain in Congress? Today you can answer that question with your contribution. If you can, please consider contributing today to help keep Dennis in Congress. Dennis' opponent has received hundreds of thousands of dollars from war contractors who got rich on her votes to fund the war, Dennis is counting on people like you. Your help will decide who goes back to Washington to represent Northeast Ohio, we need and appreciate your support. Please go to Kucinich.us/donate and contribute today. Dave Kelley Kucinich.us
