Bellbrook HB 194 Petiton Signature Collection at "Honk & Wave" (HB 194-Ohio Voting Rights) All summer long volunteers have been working to bring more people into the political process by making sure every voter who wants to exercise their right to vote is registered to vote. But here in Ohio, this basic right has been severely limited with the passage of House Bill 194. However, through a petition signature collection, there is an opportunity to stop this voter suppression bill from becoming law. Volunteers will be collecting signatures as part of the effort to put this bill on the ballot for a citizen’s veto in 2012. You can do your part in Bellbrook by canvassing downtown to passerbys near Franklin and Main. Ohioans need you and your neighbors to come out and join this effort. Stop by to sign the petition and/or to learn how you can help. If you wish, use the "comments" section below to tell us if you'd like to receive a call (please include phone number) or an email about how you can help or if you'd like to receive more info on HB 194. Please spread the word! Many people are not aware of HB 194 and its threat to voting in Ohio. We will to have petitions for residents of Greene County. Call 657-0426 to check for availability of other nearby counties.
