Take Back Your Voting Rights in Hardin County (HB 194-Ohio Voting Rights) All summer long volunteers have been working to bring more people into the political process by making sure every voter who wants to exercise their right to vote is registered to vote. But here in Ohio, this basic right has been severely limited with the passage of House Bill 194. However, through a petition signature collection, there is an opportunity to stop this voter suppression bill from becoming law. Volunteers will be collecting signatures as part of the effort to put this bill on the ballot for a citizen’s veto in 2012. You can do your part in Kenton by stopping by to sign the petition at Brunson’s Restaurant. We will be in the banquet room from 5pm to 7pm on Wednesday August 31st. Ohioans need you and your neighbors to come out and join this effort. Time: Wednesday, August 31, 2011 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Host: Christian Keck Location: Brunson’s Restaurant (Kenton, OH) 1 North Detroit Street Kenton, OH 43326
