Bush Lied About Medicare -- Take Action Today! Dear America, George W. Bush lied to Congress and the American public about the real cost of his Medicare prescription drug plan, according to a nonpartisan Congressional Research Service report. Thomas Scully, the then-director of Medicare, ordered Richard Foster, the top Medicare money cruncher, to keep his mouth shut about the real cost of the drug plan. If he didn't, Scully said, he'd be shown the door out. After he had pushed the bill through Congress, Scully left the administration. Guess where he went? He now represents the pharmaceutical companies that benefit from this bogus law. Just weeks after the legislation was signed by Bush, the administration finally revealed the truth: the Medicare bill cost $100 billion more than they had told Congress and America. Take Action Tell Congress you have had enough of Bush's lies, hypocrisy, and polarizing leadership. Click here to sign our petition demanding that the Bush administration be held accountable for lying to Congress and threatening to fire a federal employee if he went to Congress with the truth. mailer.democrats.org/rdr/002Ql0022z0004S

Give an A for Effort to the Democrats for trying desperately to pin a "lie" on this President. Ever since their President was exposed as a PROVEN LIAR, they have been coming up with the most creative definitions for the word "lie". Oh well, it's good for laughs.
