House overwhelmingly passes spending bill that will keep government open
The House of Representatives overwhelmingly passed legislation that will fund the Pentagon, the departments of Health and Human Services, Labor and Education and keep the government open past the midterms. The bill, which President Trump said he would sign, does not contain funding for a wall along the southern border. The bill passed the House by a 361-to-61 margin and has already cleared the Senate. It also includes $3.8 billion in funding to fight opioids.
