President's Daily Briefing by info@c-spanarchives.org (National Cable Satellite Corporation) John Brennan and James Clapper talked about the President's Daily Briefing during the Nixon and Ford administrations and how that had evolved over time since then. The President's Daily Briefings (PDBs} contain intelligence analysis on key national security issues for the president and other senior policymakers. The president would decide who would also see the briefings which discuss national security threats and issues. The declassified President's Daily Briefs (PDBs) from the Nixon and Ford presidential administrations, include about 2,500 documents and 28,000 pages, were released August 24, 2016. As part of this release, the CIA held a symposium, "The President's Daily Brief: Delivering Intelligence to Nixon and Ford," hosted by the Richard Nixon Foundation at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library. www.c-spanvideo.org/program/414166-1
