Dow logs longest winning streak since October
U.S. stocks eked out small gains Monday as an advance in telecom and health-care stocks offset declines in energy and materials. The S&P 500 ended up 2 points, or 0.1%, to 2,051. The telecommunications sector, 0.6% higher, and health-care stocks, up 0.5%, led the gains. Energy and materials shares were both off 0.5%. Meanwhile, the Nasdaq Composite gained 13 points, or 0.3%, to 4,808.
