Friend -- I bet you've heard from a few people about how yesterday's elections were not great for Democrats. It certainly wasn't everything we hoped for, but I also want to celebrate some of the genuinely good news from last night as well. •In Pennsylvania, all three state Supreme Court seats were won by Democrats, who now have the majority on the court. Jim Kenney also won in Philadelphia, so when Democrats arrive for the convention next year, I think they'll be happy to see a battleground state looking bluer by the day. •Ohio saw a Democrat-backed redistricting measure win with overwhelming support. I don't need to tell you how critical this state is for Democrats next year, and this was a big win towards ensuring a fairer redistricting process. •Orlando, Philadelphia, Indianapolis, and Charlotte all have great Democratic mayors (and a special shout out to Jennifer Roberts who is the first Democratic woman ever elected mayor of Charlotte!). As happy as I am to see these Democratic gains, I'm also fired up by the not-so-good outcomes from last night to work even harder going into 2016. If you're with me, add your name to say you'll help do whatever it takes to make next year a big year for Democrats and protect all the amazing progress we've made: my.democrats.org/Whatever-It-Takes Thanks for everything. All the best,
