Panel Discussion on Civil Rights History by info@c-spanarchives.org (National Cable Satellite Corporation) Panelists talked about the history of civil rights in America. The panel was moderated by Robby Luckett, director of the Margaret Walker Center for the Study of the African-American Experience at Jackson State University. The panelists were: Tiyi Morris, author of [Womanpower Unlimited and the Black Freedom Struggle in Mississippi]; Jon Hale, author of [To Write in the Light of Freedom: The Newspapers of the 1964 Mississippi Freedom Schools]; Aram Goudsouzian, author of [Down to the Crossroads: Civil Rights, Black Power, and the Meredith March Against Fear]; and Devery Anderson, author of [Emmett Till: The Murder That Shocked the World and Propelled the Civil Rights Movement].
