Friend -- I was on the ground in Cleveland at the Quicken Loans Arena for the first GOP debate, and I'm here in Simi Valley, California at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library tonight for round two. If you watched the first debate in August, you witnessed all kinds of nonsense from the Republican field. But, while they're sure to be just as entertaining this time around, I'm not asking you to watch tonight just for the laughs. I'm asking you to watch so you can know exactly what we're up against in 2016. The progress we've made during President Obama's time in office has been truly groundbreaking. But each of the 11 Republicans on stage tonight is hell-bent on reversing the advances we've made. In their eyes, everything is on the chopping block -- including the Affordable Care Act, women's health, marriage equality, and the President's Clean Power Plan. Simply put, we're going to need every single Democrat's help to keep the White House and take back Congress in 2016. That starts with tonight. So RSVP to say you'll be watching the debate, and I'll make sure you get a reminder when it's about to start: my.democrats.org/Watch-the-Republican-Debate Thanks, Debbie Debbie Wasserman Schultz Chair Democratic National Committee
