Hoyer Statement on the Nomination of Denise Turner Roth as Administrator of the General Services Administration WASHINGTON, DC - House Democratic Whip Steny H. Hoyer (MD) released the following statement today on President Obama's nomination of Denise Turner Roth as the next Administrator of the General Services Administration: “I join in congratulating Denise Turner Roth on her nomination to be the next Administrator of the General Services Administration. With nearly two decades of public service experience, including on Capitol Hill and with the District of Columbia government, she brings a wealth of experience in management, budgeting, and planning to this new role. She has already been overseeing the GSA as Acting Administrator since February and has a thorough understanding of its challenges and opportunities. I look forward to working with her to make sure the GSA has the resources it needs to provide safe and adequate work space for federal employees and to continue making the case for the new headquarters of the Federal Bureau of Investigation to be located in Prince George’s County, Maryland. I hope the Senate will act swiftly to confirm her nomination.” Visit www.democraticwhip.gov for more press, floor and member resources.
