Cheaper gasoline to save average U.S. household $700 in 2015
NEW YORK (MarketWatch)--Cheaper gasoline prices will save the average U.S. household $700 in 2015, the Energy Information Administration said Tuesday in its Short-Term Energy Outlook report. The agency said regular gasoline retail prices are forecast to average $2.45 a gallon in the April-to-September driving season, down from $3.59 last summer, with annual motor-fuel spending set to fall to its lowest level in 11 years.
