Cabinet Secretaries at National League of Cities Conference by info@c-spanarchives.org (National Cable Satellite Corporation) Several Obama administration cabinet secretaries talked about their partnerships with local communities in order to carry out their priorities. Homeland Secretary Jeh Johnson made opening remarks on terrorism and immigration. Transportation Undersecretary for Policy Peter Rogoff, Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz, and Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Gina McCarthy followed with a panel-like discussion on their respective agency's budget and priorities. Then Interior Secretary Sally Jewell spoke, stressing the need for children to learn and play in the outdoors. The session closed with a presentation on the city of Nashville by Mayor Dean and a musical performance by Nashville musician Jimmy Robins. This was an afternoon general session of the National League of Cities 2015 Congressional City Conference, held at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel. www.c-spanvideo.org/program/324732-2
