House prices up 0.3% in January, FHFA says
WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) -- U.S. house prices rose a seasonally adjusted 0.3% in January, the Federal Housing Finance Agency said Tuesday. The index, calculated from mortgages sold to or guaranteed by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, is up 5.1% from January 2014 levels.
