SEC proposes new rules for hedging disclosure
WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) -- The Securities and Exchange Commission announced it was proposing rules regarding the disclosure of company hedging policies for directors and employees. Under the proposed rule, there would be disclosure about whether directors, officers and other employees are permitted to hedge or offset any decrease in market value of equity securities granted by the company as compensation or held by employees or directors.
