Vice President Biden and Former President Clinton at Campaign Event in Ohio from C-SPAN Video Library Programs Recently Aired by info@c-spanarchives.org (National Cable Satellite Corporation) Vice President Biden and former President Bill Clinton spoke at an Obama campaign event at the Covelli Centre in Youngstown, Ohio. President Clinton praised President Obama's economic record as president and contrasted it with Mitt Romney's campaign proposals. During his speech the former president stated that the Republican Party's argument for voting for Governor Romney was that the George W. Bush administration had left President Obama "a terrible mess, and in four years he didn't fix it, so throw him put and put us back in...." He also refuted a Romney campaign ad that claimed President Obama let Jeep move to China. Vice President Biden also spoke about economic issues as well as the military and foreign policy, reproductive rights, and the Ohio U.S. Senate race between Senator Sherrod Brown and State Treasurer Josh Mandel. President Obama had been scheduled to speak but returned to Washington, D.C., to monitor Hurricane Sandy. www.c-spanvideo.org/program/309114-1
