S&P 500, Nasdaq end at records after U.S.-Mexico trade deal
Stocks ended higher Monday after the U.S. and Mexico agreed on a trade deal, with the Nasdaq Composite ending above 8,000 for the first time. The S&P 500 rose 0.8% to finish near 2,897, according to preliminary figures, marking the second consecutive record close for the index. The Nasdaq rose 0.9% to end near 8,018, while the Dow jumped around 259 points, or 1%, to close near 26,050.
