Ambassador Mohib said of President Obama's recent sign-off to expand U.S. military authorities in Afghanistan is welcomed as his country continues to rebuild and work on peace and security. He also commented on the June 12 mass shooting at an Orlando, Florida, gay nightclub in which more than 100 people were killed or injured, stating that Afghanistan condemns such hate and stressed the need to stand united and in solidarity against terrorists.
