Friend --
Our work is driven by the people who are willing to step up and take charge of it.
It's the way we've always done business, and I couldn't be prouder of that.
That's why, today, we want to hear from top supporters like you about what you want to see OFA work on this summer.
I want to make one thing clear: Organizing for Action doesn't work on elections, which means you won't see us involved in campaigns this fall. We're a non-profit, issue advocacy organization -- and we're actually going to live up to our principles. OFA is a grassroots movement built to take on the special interests in Washington, not act like one ourselves.
Our job this summer is to keep driving the momentum in the fight for change. What we're doing is working -- now is not the time to let up.
When we asked for your thoughts at the end of 2013, thousands of supporters told us we needed to go all-in on health care reform -- fighting back against the misinformation and helping get people the facts they need to get health coverage.
So that's exactly what we did. (And boy, did it ever pay off!)
We also heard a lot from supporters about getting more aggressive in our climate change campaign, and doing more to create economic opportunity. It's no coincidence that over the past few months, those two issues have been front and center in our priorities. Our supporters are exposing climate change deniers in Congress, and fighting for the President's strong carbon pollution standards. And we're in the middle of collecting signatures on a national petition to raise the minimum wage.
So, we're asking supporters like you again: What do you want to focus on in the months to come?
Take this quick, one-question survey, and make sure your voice is heard:
