Hoyer Statement on Retirement of Dan Strodel, Chief Administrative Officer of the House WASHINGTON, DC - House Democratic Whip Steny H. Hoyer (MD) released the following statement on the retirement of Dan Strodel, the Chief Administrative Officer of the House of Representatives: “For nearly three decades, Dan Strodel has served the House of Representatives with distinction, including as Chief Administrative Officer since 2010. In that role, he has helped ensure the smooth operation of the House of Representatives and the well-being of its Members and staff. “From his first days working in the Finance Office to his service in the Office of the Clerk, the Office of the Sergeant-at-Arms, and the House Administration Committee, Dan has set an example of excellence that will continue to benefit the House and the American people, which it serves, for many years to come. His experience, institutional knowledge, and professionalism were evident when he was appointed to serve as Chief Administrative Officer under both Democratic and Republican majorities. I join in wishing Dan and his family all the best in his retirement.” Visit www.democraticwhip.gov/ for more press, floor and member resources.
