Elections cost money – and by-elections are no different. I just got the rundown from our national organizers about what resources we need to compete on the ground in four key by-elections happening right now. We need leaflets for the candidates, more lawn signs (they’re going up faster than we can send them out), and local advertising. I can’t give them the green light without your help. Donate $10 today to get our teams on the ground the resources they need. You’ll get $7.50 back after tax credits. We’re taking on the Conservatives in two Manitoba strongholds. We’re building a breakthrough in Toronto, and keeping up our momentum in Bourassa. Most importantly, we’re giving voters outstanding New Democrat candidates who care deeply about what’s going on in their communities. Investing in these campaigns right now will go a long way in building towards 2015. This is a crucial training opportunity – and a chance to break new ground in communities that the other parties have taken for granted for too long. Right now, our immediate attention is on these important campaigns. Rent is due at our campaign offices. We’ve got a phone bank to run in Bourassa and volunteers need canvassing materials in Manitoba. Donate $10 or more now so we can keep moving forward: www.ndp.ca/breaking-new-groundThanks a lot, Chantal Chantal Vallerand Deputy National Director Canada’s New Democrats
