CDFI Fund Releases Notice of Request for Proposals for Master Servicer/Trustee for the CDFI Bond Guarantee Program Washington, DC - The U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Community Development Financial Institutions Fund (CDFI Fund) released today a Notice of Request for Proposals for Master Servicer/Trustee for the CDFI Bond Guarantee Program in advance of it being published in the Federal Register on Friday, June 14, 2013. This Notice of Request for Proposals describes the duties of the Master Servicer/Trustee, the criteria to be used to select the Master Servicer/Trustee, the selection process, and how to submit proposals. Proposals to become the Master Servicer/Trustee must be received by the CDFI Fund no later than 5:00 p.m. EDT on July 1, 2013. Any organization wishing to propose to serve as the Master Servicer/Trustee must submit: one (1) electronic copy of the proposal materials in Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF format by email to bgp@cdfi.treas.gov and five (5) printed, color copies of the proposal materials either: (i) by mail to the CDFI Fund, U.S. Department of the Treasury, 1500 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20220, or (ii) by commercial carrier to the attention of Lisa Jones, 1801-6215, JBAB, 250 Murray Lane, SW, Building 410/Door 123, Washington, DC 20222. The inaugural application period for the CDFI Bond Guarantee Program opened June 11, 2013, with the posting of the application materials on the CDFI Fund’s website in anticipation of the publication of the Notice of Guarantee Availability (NOGA) in the Federal Register on June 14, 2013. The NOGA makes up to $500 million in bond guarantee authority available to eligible Community Development Financial Institutions in fiscal year 2013.
