Ugana's Joseph Kony and the Lord's Resistance Party from C-SPAN Video Library Programs Recently Aired by info@c-spanarchives.org (National Cable Satellite Corporation) Two Ugandans who were abducted by the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) testified before a Senate subcommittee on African affairs. One of them Jacob Acaye, was made famous by the Kony video released by an NGO (non-governmental agency) earlier in 2012. Senators also heard from State and Defense Department officials who explained U.S. efforts in the central African region affected by the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA). The LRA is known for kidnapping women and children for use as sex slaves and child soldiers.
