Our important Mississippi election is next Tuesday, November 8th. There are many phone banks in DeSoto county. I am hosting one of many on Saturday November 5th at 11AM. Saturday's event is marking the countdown to one year to President Obama's re-election!!
Please bring your cell phone to phone bank. Please bring your lap top computer if you have one which we use to immediately note whom you contacted.

In just a few days, Mississippi will be holding our 11/8 General Election to determine the direction our State will go, with the Obama administration (supportive) or continuously against it. You are my Facebook friend and neighbor and I'm asking you to PLEASE Vote and promise to make sure 10 other friends or family members ALSO VOTE on November 8th (call them!). Obama won 20,000 votes in DeSoto County in 2008, and we desperately need to see them return to vote for November 8, 2011 and even MORE in 2012. We practice for this year getting out the vote, and are ready for NEXT YEAR AND THE PRESIDENT'S RE-ELECTION. (I have re-elect President Obama yard signs $10)
In DeSoto County we have 21 different ballots, and the only local DEMOCRATIC candidates are in one area, not all over. FOR SENIORS OR ANYONE NOT IN THE COUNTY NOV 8TH YOU CAN VOTE NOW ABSENTEE!!.

The Secretary of State’s office has released its sample ballot for the Nov. 8 election. This ballot includes statewide, legislative and multi-district offices. County races are added at the county level. This gives you an idea of the order in which candidates will appear on the ballot. On page 17 you will see the ballot initiatives – “personhood,” voter ID and eminent domain in that order.
