Greek prime minister survives vote of confidencefrom MarketWatch.com - MarketPulse SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou survived a vote of confidence after calling for a new government coalition to lead the debt-strapped country, according to reports late Friday. Earlier in the week, Papandreou roiled markets by seeking a national referendum on an EU bailout package, only to later withdraw the suggestion. The parliamentary vote of confidence was 153 in favor, 145 against. a media report said.
