House passes two-year budget and debt-limit deal The House of Representatives on Thursday passed a two-year budget and debt limit deal backed by President Donald Trump but opposed by a large number of House Republicans. The bill boosts federal spending on the Pentagon and domestic programs by about $320 billion over current budget caps, and suspends the government's borrowing limit until the end of July 2021. Trump urged Republicans to support it, but 132 voted against it in protest of what they said was excessive spending. The vote was 284 to 149. feeds.marketwatch.com/~r/marketwatch/marketpulse/~3/NbHo-k9Yww8/story.aspx
