WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) -- President Barack Obama will "consider any option that might make sense" to protect a free and open Internet, a White House spokesman said following a Federal Communications Commission vote Thursday. The FCC voted to propose new rules on "net neutrality," including one which could allow Internet providers to charge content companies for faster delivery of services. The White House said the administration is pleased to see FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler is "keeping all options on the table." A final decision will come after the agency collects comments from the public.
