Alabama's 10th congressional district (obsolete) Population (1920) 170,857 Created 1910 Census Eliminated 1930 Census Years 1913-1933 Alabama had 10 representatives in Congress from 1913-1933. During the 63rd and 64th Congresses (1913-1917) Alabama's 10th Representative was elected at-large. During this period Democrat John Abercrombie was Alabama's at-large representative. Beginning with the 65th Congress the at-large district was abolished and Democrat William B. Bankhead represented Alabama's 10th until it was eliminated. After the 10th was eliminated Rep.
