The Joint Committee on National Security Strategy includes 22 members from both the House of Commons and House of Lords. Prime Minister Cameron answered questions on the government's response to Syria, the British defense budget, and the U.S. decision to focus on the Asia Pacific region. On privacy issues, the prime minister said he was concerned about the damage that the Edward Snowden revelations has done to security and said newspapers need to be careful what they publish.
